Recorded at Regent University with a packed house of energetic worshipers, this new live experience captures Don Moen leading worship with a fresh blend of new songs plus a few favorites and hymns. Thank You Lord is filled with Don Moen’s trademark style of simple, intimate worship songs. Don Moen wrote or co-wrote 6 of the 15 songs on Thank You Lord, including the title cut, which he penned after asking the Lord for a “simple song of thanks” that people could sing to express the gratitude in their hearts. Other songs on the album include “Arise” (co-written with Paul Baloche), the English/Spanish “Mi Corazone” (co-written with producer David Hamilton) and “Jesus, You Are My Healer,” which Moen wrote for a friend who was diagnosed with cancer. That friend was able to attend the album recording and continues to improve in spite of his diagnosis.
