WOW!!! Your “uncharted territory” testimony sounds like my families testimoney. Oddly enough – we moved to Nashville 8 years ago (from our hometown of Mobile, AL) – and we too had the same type of adjustments and doubts that you are your family experienced…..”did we hear God correctly, did we move in Gods timing or our own, etc. etc.” — but as ALWAYS — God is and was faithful!!! He daily led us through the transitions, both good and bad – and showed us His faithfulness and unconditional love!! It didn’t take long for us to KNOW that we were exactly where God would have us to be and revealed to us that this is where our provision is!! Your life and music has meant alot to us – and God has used your songs to remind us of His constant love, protection, and guidance through our own “unchartered territory”!! “Uncharted Territory” applies to everything new that occurs in life. We just have to rely
God’s love to make them work.
Recently, a pastor friend, his wife, son & daughter, had to move back to the Philippines
after being the pastor in their church here in California for more than 10 years. He will
be the head of the Christian Academy in Cebu City. He is facing lots of challenges in
terms of rebuilding/remodelling some structures in that academy.
To him & his family, they are in “uncharted territory”. Just like you, they had to leave
their comfortable life here in the US, their close friends, the church congregation that
loves them so much, to begin another calling from God. I know in my heart that is
where God wants them to be…. to reach out to the people in that area & to help the
academy fulfill God’s mission for it.

Iam speechless after hearing this,bz what you have shared is exactly for me. There is no words to explain my mourns i experienced in my life. My heart was broken,i felt lonely, fear abt life etc etc.. I thought my life has gone. But God has lifted me up from the valley of death and rescued me by his love. For the past few days i was frustrated like anything and i felt god has forgot and forsaken me. Really i felt that iam in “Uncharted Territory”. This is a great job and I Bless God for using you in this generation. I have this testimony to share about God’s faithfulness. Last year January (2011), my life has no direction and I got frustrated. At the same time I was in so much debt. While leading worship in the church on sunday, the very first sunday of last year, I was ministered to, to take up an extra responsibility in the house of God, I asked myself, that with all the debt am owing. So, I decided and told my Pastor, that the church should employ a cleaner that I will be responsible for her salary. This decision almost separated my wife and I but I Thank God, that HE helped me. In the month of may, (same year), one of my boss in the office called me and she said, the job I assisted her for in December(2010), she has been paid and this is my own share of the profit. With this money, I settled my debts, bought a 2 plots of land, laid the foundation and up to a roofing stage, and best of all, when the tithe entered into the church purse, it helped a lot in fixing so many pending things. And to crown the year up again, I was asked to go on a trip to India from Nigeria for a course sponsored by my employer. That was when it really shows clearly to me that God’s presence is more even in an uncharted territory. He is a faithful God.
