Laura and I are so excited that so many of you have decided to join us on our Holy Land Tour taking place September 9-19, 2014. We believe that it’s going to be an unforgettable time of worship that will revive your faith and forever change the way you look at the Gospel. I personally cannot wait to join in worship with my good friends Lenny LeBlanc and Paul Wilbur and learn more about Israel from New York Times Bestselling Author Stephen Mansfield.
While we are very much looking forward to this trip, we know that many of you have heard about the current unrest in Israel. Our friends at Inspiration Tours who will be handling the details of our trip would like to provide you all with some helpful information about the current situation on the ground in Israel.
Nothing is more important than the safety and security of our tour groups, and we stay in close contact with our trusted travel partners on the ground there. These operators live, work and vacation in this region, and we rely on them—not the American media—for the most accurate reports. […] Despite what you may hear or see on the news, tourism and daily activities in Israel have been unaffected by these escalations in and around Gaza, which is not near where our groups travel. From Jerusalem to Galilee, Israelis are walking to work, visiting museums, dining at sidewalk cafés and raising families just like they do every day. All upcoming Inspiration events are still scheduled, and we fully expect each to bring wonderful times of personal and spiritual growth for our guests in the Holy Land.
